The Forest Alliance of British Columbia is a coalition of more than 10,000 citizens and 300 organizations from all areas of the province and walks of life. Together we find ways to achieve both environmental protection and economic stability in the use of B.C's forest resources. Made up of 30 British Columbians representing different points of view and regions, our Citizens Board directs our activities. Through studies, fact-finding missions, education and information services, we deliver the facts about current forestry issues. We also have a voluntary code of environmental standards. Virtually every major forest company in B.C. has signed our Principles of Sustainable Forestry.
