Maximum knot size 20-30mm with 2 knots allowed to be up to 35mm. A maximum of 30% of the treads may have 3 or less SPIKE KNOTS per tread of 50mm or less in length with maximum of 30mm width. 3% of the treads can have 1 or less SPIKE KNOT 70mm or less. 50% of the treads may have 5 or less PIN KNOTS of 5mm or less. These PIN KNOTS shall be in addition to the 8 knot total and the extra PIN KNOTS are allowed on 50% or less of the treads. 2DAll knots shall be sound and tight.
